A Disrespect To God

Hannah under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit spoke and said,“Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of yourmouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions areweighed......1 Samuel 2:3 KJV”God weighs actions. God is not just moved because you sang about His greatnessand power. To Him, your attitude to life is very important. It shows whether youmeant what you said or not.There are certain Christians who are afraid of witchcraft and devils. The thingsthey say, how they respond to situations and their conversation in life all attest to afear of the demonic yet still such individuals keep on professing the Scripture“Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world”God is not just interested in the talk but most importantly the walk. Your truemeasure of the greatness of God is reflected in how you respond to life.As far as you are afraid of satan and his devils, it means you don’t believe that Godreally lives in you or you have a poor estimation of who God really is.For many, the problem really is that though they quote the Scripture“Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world”, they are not trulypersuaded by the abiding presence of God in them. It has just become a religiousstatement, the reason why Christians are defeated in life.
God indeed dwells in you through His Spirit; the Creator really lives in you. Thisis why you need not fear anything.You have to come to a point in your life where truth becomes the Word of Godand not what you see or feel.There are Christians who can’t even boldly mention satan’s name because of fear.Why fear the nonentity satan and his smaller demons when the Great Jehovah livesin you? Should light fear darkness or vice versa? You are not ordinary. After Godtells you that He lives in you and you still see yourself ordinary then you are notserious. It’s a disrespect to God. You ought to dance about such a statement. It hasto change your attitude in lifeWhen John realized that God now lives in the Christian, only what he could say isthat “you have overcome the world”. You have overcome the world and itsdemons.He understood who God is and had a proper estimation of His person and power.The Bible says,“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the powermay be of God, and not of us..... 2 Corinthians 4:7 KJV”What you carry is more than gold, never fear the devil

Finish Your Course

The most important thing in life is for men to find their purpose and fulfill it. Thelife of a man is a race, a course to complete. Find your course and finish it.Success as pertains to God is all about a man finding his purpose in life andfulfilling it. No matter the accomplishments, the seemingly achievements, nomatter the material acquisitions if a Christian doesn’t fulfill the purpose for whichhe was born, he is a failure.The success of a product is the fulfillment of the purpose for which it was made.Only the manufacturer can determine the success of a product. The Bible says,“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, whichGod hath before ordained that we should walk in them.... Ephesians 2:10KJV”You are not an accident. Every human has a purpose in life, find that purpose andfulfill it. Man can only start living out his divine purpose when he comes intoChrist. There are two destinies, the natural and divine. The natural destiny is whatfamily, society and the world put on you but the divine destiny is found in Christ.Sadly, not even all Christians fulfill their divine destiny. The most important thingin life is to fulfill the purpose for which you were born. There are many includingChristians who live and die without finding out their purpose.Man! Find out your purpose and fulfill it. The journey of life is different for everyman; don’t try to be someone else. There is a purpose for your life, find it andfulfill it.Paul the Apostle understood and knew his purpose in life, he was fully focused oncompleting his race. At the end he could say, “I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. Will you be able to say the same when all is done? The day thetrumpet sounds, can you say the same?There are Christians doing the wrong jobs, married to the wrong people, living inthe wrong place etc etc. They are in a wrong courseHow can you even fulfill your purpose when you are in the wrong course? OnlyGod can guide you into fulfilling your purpose for being. Every manufacturermakes a product for a specific purpose.There are people in the wrong course because of carnal reasons. They want to belike other people. They compete and compare themselves with others. This is notwisdom. The journey of life is different for every human being. What shouldmatter to you is finding your purpose and fulfilling it. This is the true meaning ofsuccess.

God Cares

Romans 8:32KJVHe that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for usall, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
How much does God care for you? He cared enough to have delivered up His ownson for you. This is how much He loves you.If one can give you His son, He will give you all. God never promised a troublefree life. You don’t tell someone to overcome if problems will not come. He neverpromised us a trouble free life. What He promised is victory.When you are in troubles, when things become difficult and it seems there is noway out, remember that God cares. Cast all the cares upon Him.The Bible says,“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you....1 Peter 5:7KJV”God will not fail you. He has never failed any that truly trusted in Him and youwont be the first. Scripture says,“Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame....Romans 10:11KJV”Paul was quoting David. David had experienced this. He had been through a lot oftroubles but when all was said and done he came on top because he unreservedlytrusted in God so he said,“To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in You I [have unwavering]trust [and I rely on You with steadfast confidence],Do not let me beashamed or my hope in You be disappointed; Do not let my enemies triumphover me. Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will beashamed. Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously
without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed)....Psalm 25:1-3AMP”Yes! None of those who expectantly wait for God will be ashamed. Don’t waverbecause of the storms. After all is said and done, you will come up on top.Remember, God knows what you are going through and He cares. All He requiresfrom you is an unwavering faith.

God Needs Your Response

Psalm 27:8KJVWhen thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee,Thy face, LORD, will I seek
God needs your response, He needs a heart response. Man’s heart was created torespond to God’s Words.The solution to your problem is not to sorrow and murmur, the question is whathas He said about you in such situations? Have you responded? What instructiondid He give? Have you responded?All what faith is, is a heart response to what God has said. This is not a mentalresponse, not a pretentious response but a heart response. If you couldn’t say inpublic what you said to God about the situation then your faith in that matterhasn’t arrived yet.Sometimes, there are people who think they are in faith when really they are not.When they are with God alone or even around those they deem spirituallymatured, they will make the right statements of faith but when around carnalChristians or people of the world, they talk their fears.There is no problem with that, be yourself. Righteousness is about being yourselfand not pretending. All that your heart is telling you is that your faith in thatmatter hasn’t yet arrived. You don’t have to feel bad about it, just give time to theword so to feed your faith.You can confess thousand times but if it didn’t come from a heart of faith, nothingwill change. Its not about formula’s and methods. There are people who teach faithas formula’s and methods. It’s not supposed to be so. Such will fail when the stormintensifies. Faith is about being you because it is of the heart. Be yourself. Whenyou are yourself and finds out that you are in fear or doubt, feed your faith. Feedyour faith till faith becomes your new normal. This is all what faith is.
When it comes to God, there have to be a response, the right response.They said he was a good Christian, he was even a Pastor but why did this happen?It’s not about being a good Christian or Pastor, it’s about a heart response to whatGod said and is saying about you in that situation.David said,“When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD,will I seek”. He understood what was expected of him, a heart response.

God Will Not Afflict

Lamentations 3:33KJVFor he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
When a person lacks an understanding of the character of God, he will acceptcertain wrong messages and doctrines, which just opens the door for the devil todestroy himThere are Christians and even some Pastors who preach that God put sickness andafflictions on people to try and test them.The Bible says that woe is he that calls good “evil” and evil “good”. When aChristian doesn’t have his spiritual senses exercised to discern between good andevil, he is a babe. It doesn’t matter your title or what they call you.Scripture says that God does not afflict willingly. Its never God’s desire to afflict ortry any Christian with afflictions or diseases. God doesn’t do that.In the Old Testament when such things came upon God’s covenant people, it wasbecause they had gone astray and even in that He had to bear for such things tocome upon them in the hope that they were going to repent“I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your youngmen have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I havemade the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye notreturned unto me, saith the LORD...AMOS 4:10KJV”He says, “Yet have ye not returned unto me”. I allowed these to come upon you inthe hope that you repent but yet have ye not returned unto me. It wasn’t my willand desire but yet have ye not returned unto me.
Those who preaches that God put sickness and afflictions to try the Christian, askthem if they will try their children with cancer, tuberculosis, diabetes etc etc?Jesus said to the Jews,“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, howmuch more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those whoask Him.... Matthew 7:11KJV”If even the evil knows that it is wrong to put sickness on his child, God knowsbetter”.Its wrong and evil to refer satan’s work to God. Peter said,“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power,who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by thedevil, for God was with Him.... Acts 10:38KJV”The “all” He healed were oppressed by the devil and not God”The Bible says,“For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men”

It will be a post tribulation rapture

1 Thessalonians 4:16KJVFor the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: andthe dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive andremain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, tomeet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
There are Christian denominations and well-known men of God, who haveadvanced the message of a pretribulation rapture, a message that says that thechurch will be raptured before the great tribulation. They mean that the churchwon’t be on earth during the great tribulation because they will be raptured beforethen. They quote Scriptures from Revelations and all other parts of the Bible tosupport this claim. I wish they were right but they are not.When I teach post tribulation rapture, it is not because I want it to be so but itsbecause this is what the Word of God says. And what we do is to submit ourselvesto whatever His plan is because He is God, the decider not us.There are many ways I can prove to you that the rapture is post tribulation but thismorning I want to show a simple one of what the Holy Spirit taught and showedme.The Scripture they refer to, as a pretribulation rapture is our introductoryScripture, where Paul says,“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voiceof the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall risefirst: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together withthem in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with theLord”This is gleaned from the first letter that Paul the Apostle wrote to the church atThessalonica. Now if you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, what you are saying
is that you will come from heaven with the Lord on that day He comes to executejudgment on the earth, a day popularly known as the Day of the Lord. This meansthat what they call the first flight church wont be on earth on that Day of the Lordbecause based on their teaching, they come with Jesus from Heaven on that day toexecute vengeance on the anti-christ and his army but lets observe what Paul goeson to tell this same people regarding the Day of the Lord. Mind you, we are talkingabout the same letter and the same people. We want to observe what Paul goes onto tell the same Christians that he has just in some minutes told,“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voiceof the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall risefirst: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together withthem in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with theLord”.Paul goes on to say to them,“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write untoyou. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as athief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then suddendestruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and theyshall not escape..... 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 KJV”Paul tells them that the day of the Lord will come upon the world as a thief in thenight, not to them but to the world.Now if you are a pre-tribulation rapture believer, you wont be on earth that daybecause you are supposed to be descending with Jesus from heaven but lets seewhat Paul says to them regarding that day, the Day of the Lord’s vengeance.“But you, believers, [all you who believe in Christ as Saviour and acknowledgeHim as God’s Son] are not in spiritual darkness [nor held by its power], thatthe day [of judgment] would overtake you [by surprise] like a thief; for you areall sons of light and sons of day. We do not belong to the night nor todarkness. So then let us not sleep [in spiritual indifference] as the rest [of theworld does], but let us keep wide awake [alert and cautious] and let us be sober[self-controlled, calm, and wise]...1 Thessalonians 5:4-6AMP”

Stop the fear

2 Corinthians 2:11 KJVLest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are notignorant of his devices.
When the Bible says,“Neither give place to the devil.....Ephesians 4:27KJV”, it thus suggest thatthere are things that exposes one to satanic attacks and influences being itpestilences, other forms of unrighteousness or any other.The Holy Scripture says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established; thou shaltbe far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall notcome near thee.... Isaiah 54:14KJV”Its very important that Christians understand what God is saying. Howrighteousness operates to protect you is by eliminating fear and restoring one’sconfidence. He says, “thou shalt be far from oppression, because thou shalt notfear”. Hence oppression is tied to fear. No wonder, the Apostle John says“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hathtorment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.....1 John 4:18KJV”Fear indeed brings torments. Cast out fear from your life and home. Neverentertain even an ounce of fear. Fear is an attack and when you find yourselffearing, pray.The same way God operates through faith, satan operates through fear. Fear is thereverse of faith. Fear is having faith in the ability of satan. You fear because youbelieve satan has the ability to destroy you and your loved ones. This is why fear isa grave sin before God. Fear is a spit on God’s face, its undermining God’s love and power. Never fear.How will you men feel when your wife tells you that another man is better andgreater than you? Why don’t they understand this when it comes to God?Fear is you believing in the ability of the devil than the power of God and thatincite Godly jealousy“Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in usyearns jealously”?......James 4:5KJV”Many Christians have not been made to understand the gravity of the sin of fear.Fear is very dangerous. See things from God’s angle. Many joke with fearWhen the Bible talks of those who will be going to hell, He mentions the fearful asnumber one“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, andwhoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their partin the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the seconddeath.... Revelation 21:8 KJV”Stop the fear.
