Words are containers of life or death, they are carriers of destinies. As a Christian,you have to understand that there are things, which only God can teach us. Hecreated the world and so what He says is final. The fact that it doesn’t make senseto you doesn’t mean it is not true.
Anytime you speak, you are releasing life or death. You have to understand thatsatan needs you to destroy you, he needs that co-operation through the words youspeak. Words release energies. This is why wisdom admonishes the Christian to walk by faith and not by sight.When God tells you do anything, there is a reason for that. He knows the laws,principles and ordinances that governs this earth

The Faith Of Abraham - An unmissable life transforming podcast

Many times, there are those who think we are unreasonable when it comes to faith.They think we talk too much. The Bible says that those with the Abrahamic typeof faith are made heirs of the promise. Paul points the Christian to the Abrahamkind of faith.
What is so special about the faith of Abraham? Through out the years, wonderfulsermons have been preached about Abraham but it is important to help Christiansunderstand how great his faith was and his absolute confidence in God.God had said to Abraham “In Isaac shall your seed be called”. By that God wassaying that the Lord Jesus would be a descendant of Isaac and that the descendantsof the Abrahamic covenant will be through Isaac.
Soon after this, God told Abraham to go to the mountain of Moriah to sacrificeIsaac. I want to bring your attention to the fact that God asked Abraham to offerIsaac as a burnt offering.

He gave us an example to follow

There are certain people who see themselves “too big” to serve. To them, servingothers is below them. They think that due to a certain stature they have attained inlife, they rather ought to be served and hence don’t want to serve in any capacity.Such people are just deceiving themselves. No wonder God says, that the wisdomof this world is foolishness with Him. In certain churches, only poor people areushers and janitors, leadership positions are for the rich. He is a CEO therefore heought to be in a leadership position, I am a CEO of a very big company hence Icant be an Usher. This is how they think. Such people lack wisdom.As Christians, we have to be wise. If you are a CEO, you are because God put youthere so if this same God says be an usher in the church, you humbly do so. Beingthe president of a nation doesn’t make you better than another Christian in theKingdom. In God’s Kingdom, greatness is not measured that way. The Bible says,that “In Christ Jesus, there is no difference between bond and free”. This meansthat as far as Jesus is concerned, there isn’t any difference between the Christianwho is a slave and one who is not.Don’t bring the ways of the world into the church. Many have and this is verydisrespectful to God. There are Christians who have oppressed other Christianswithout even knowing. These people go on condemning other wicked people inthe world when they themselves are doing the same thing in the church. You have to understand that every other Christian has the same right in his or her Father’skingdom as you and you have no right to take from him or her what His father hasfor him or wants him to do in the Church. Such attitude amounts to oppression.Jesus, the King and Lord took towel and washed the feet of the Apostles and bythat very act demonstrated that in the Kingdom greatness is synonymous toserving. If Jesus could wash the feet of the Apostles, who is anyone to think that heor she is too big to serve? Are you bigger than Jesus?Jesus went on after that act to state categorically that,“If I then, your lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to washone another's feet”The operative word here is “ought”. This is not an opinion but an instruction. Themaster says, I went to the cross for you and have washed your feet even though Iam King of kings and Lord of lords therefore none of you have an excuse for notserving one another.The truth really is that the greatest serve. Those who want to be served are theweak.

Healing Special Feature

There are preachers and Christians who believe that it is not always God’s will toheal. Some even believe that people get sick because God has ordered so by Hissovereignty. The interesting thing is that such folks still go to the doctor so to getrid of the disease which they have claimed to be God’s will. They never realize thatthey are contradicting themselves. Why go to the doctor to take away that whichyou say is God’s will? As a Christian, are not you supposed to be living in God’swill?

The Reason For The Season

John 10:10KJVThe thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:I am come that they might have life, and that they might have itmore abundantly. 
The Joy of Christmas, the celebration of the birth of the Lord Jesus is in what itmeans for you as a Christian. It is not in the feasting but in the reason for theseason. Why was He born?The average answer you will get from many Christians is that Jesus came to die forme on the cross. This is nice, it’s true that He died on the cross but till theChristian fully understands the reason for His dying on the cross and resurrectingon the third day, the true essence of Christmas is lost.We find the answer from the mouth of the Lord Himself, He says“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am comethat they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”Christmas therefore is a celebration of a life, it is called Eternal lifePaul says,“In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before thebeginning of time,and which now at his appointed season he has brought tolight through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God ourSavior,...Titus 1:2-3NIV”God had already promised this life to man even before time began but brought itforth through the resurrection of Jesus.Beloved! Understand that Adam even before he sinned didn’t have this life that weare talking about.
What then is Eternal life? The traditional Christian has been taught that Eternallife means living forever, that it is a life they will receive when they go to Heaven.This is not accurate. If you are a Christian, you already have Eternal life.Plants have plant life, animals have the animal life, the ordinary man has thenormal human life but God too has His own type and quality of life. Actually, Heis that life itself. The life, which God has as God, is what is termed Eternal life.Jesus said,“For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to havelife in himself....John 5:26NIV”John the Apostle was there when Jesus made this statement. This same John longafter Jesus had ascended into Heaven and now having understood very well whothe Christian is wrote to the Church and said,“ And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in hisSon. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God doesnot have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son ofGod so that you may know that you have eternal life....1 John 5:11-13NIV”John says that he wants you the Christian to know that you have Eternal life, thesame life which was in the Son Jesus when He walked on this Earth. It’s notsomething to have in the future. You have it now. Don’t define yourself by theoutward for inside you are the very life of God but as John points out, it isknowing that you have it that blesses you.It is this life that made Paul immune to serpent bite, not because he was anApostle. It’s also because of this life that every Christian has received that madeJesus say,“And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will driveout demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes withtheir hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all;they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well....Mark 16:17-18 NIV”It’s this life that puts you above satan and his devils. It’s this life that satan soughtafter but couldn’t attain because his motive was borne out of evil and pride. You and I have received it graciously. You can’t be living in sin and unrighteousnesswhen you have this life because the life empowers you to do what is right.Therefore as you celebrate Christmas, celebrate the reason for the season. Celebratethe life that puts you over the depraved life of the ordinary human.Merry Christmas!

Works Of Faith

If ignorant preachers and agents of the Devil take some Christians to the lake offire, it will be their own doing.There are Christians who may brand some ministers as unloving just because theycorrect and rebuke them. Those that allow them to live anyhow in the name ofGrace are seen as the true messengers of the Gospel. They have bought into anerroneous Gospel branded as “once saved always saved”. This message propagatesan impression that, since the Lord Jesus has paid for all sins, past, present andfuture, sin doesn’t matter anymore. This is to say that, no matter how you live inChrist, you will escape the second death and many have bought into that notion,the results being the fornication, adultery, homosexuality and all manner of sinsseen in the present day Church.Do such ministers understand Grace than Jesus Himself? Do you understandGrace than the Lord Himself, who personally warned the seven churches in Asiaagainst such things? Who told them to repent from fornication, adultery, imperfectworks or stand having their names been blot out from the book of life.“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I willnot blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name beforemy Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what theSpirit saith unto the churches..... Revelation 3:5-6KJV”The Master says, “Hear what the Spirit says to the Churches”. Why were theyasked to overcome?“Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die:for I have not found thy works perfect before God.... Revelation 3:3KJV”
Their works were not perfect before God. Contrary to the preachers of these days,Jesus didn’t say that works are not important because of faith. He told the Churchat Sardis, “Your works are not perfect before God”Many had defiled their garments of righteousness by their way of life and hencewere not worthy“Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments;and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.... Revelation3:4KJV”Are you worthy? Apparently, contrary to the extreme Grace preachers, Works offaith are extremely important.It’s the same thing that James reiterated when he said,“But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without worksis dead?....James 2:20KJV”James says, its only a foolish Christian who will think that works is not importantbecause of faith. They go hand in hand,“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also”The message of a man truly sent from God will always measure up to His Word.Does the message of those preachers measure up to the Words of Jesus that Heinstructed John to write to the seven churches? You be the judge. Don’t followblind guides to lead you to hell.Grace doesn’t mean unrighteousness is acceptable. Grace means empowerment forrighteousness. God bless you!

The King Is Coming

Beloved, the return of Jesus and the closure of the curtains of this age is very near, it is at the doorstep. When you see the current wars and happenings on the globe, it is because of that, everything is coming into place for the return of Jesus.If you are a Christian, these are not the time to be joking about the unnecessary things of life, be focus and do the work because the Great Lord is coming very soon. Jesus said, “You study the Scriptures diligently because you think thatin them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures thattestify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life......John5:39-40NIV”The Scripture testifies about Jesus.“Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe allthat the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have sufferedthese things, and to enter into his glory?And beginning at Moses andall the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures thethings concerning himself.......Luke 24:25-27KJV”So Moses talked about Jesus and remember that he Moses was a prophet.When Israel was about to leave Egypt, this is the instruction God gave regardingthe passover.“And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egyptsaying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: itshall be the first month of the year to you. Speak ye unto all thecongregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month theyshall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of theirfathers, a lamb for an house:......Exodus 12:1-3KJV”They were to take a lamb on the tenth day of the month, which was going to bethe first month of the year for them but when were they to sacrifice the lamb?
“And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month:and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it inthe evening...Exodus 12:6KJV”They were to keep it for four days in the month, which was going to be thebeginning of the year unto them. Why so?This is because Jesus was going to be crucified on a day in history, which will be4000 years from the creation and foundation of the earth. Yes, Jesus died on year4000 since Adam. Hold on to this thought!Now how many years is Jesus supposed to remain in heaven before returning, afterhis ascension?Let us consider the words of another prophet called Hosea.“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge theiroffence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and hewill heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.After two dayswill he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shalllive in his sight....Hosea 5:15-6:1-2KJV”What at all was the Prophet talking about? And which people was he referring to?The answer is in the next verse. Let us observe the next verse“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his goingforth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as therain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth...Hosea 6:3KJV”The Prophet was talking about the ascension and second coming of Jesus. TheApostle James even quotes Hosea 6:3 in his write up on the second coming of theMaster.Let us observe.“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, thehusbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience forit, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts:for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh...James 5:7-8KJV”
 
So when He said, “I will go and return to my place, till theyacknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction theywill seek me early. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for hehath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind usup. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise usup, and we shall live in his sight...”, what did He mean?Jesus came to Israel and they rejected the day of their visitation, they rejected Him.So He went back to heaven, to his place after the ascension but during the greattribulation, which will be a time of Israel’s affliction, they will acknowledge theMessiah, they will acknowledge Jesus. How long will it take from His ascension tothe time in the great tribulation where they will acknowledge Him, the same timethat will mark the second coming of Jesus and the resurrection of the dead inChrist?It will take two days, which by the Scriptural principle of 1 day is a 1000 yearstranslates to 2000 years. So the second return of Jesus is 2000 years from theascension after His death. At the beginning of the third day from His ascension,which is the millennium, we start living in His presence (in His sight). He will behere on earth with us.Now 4000 years from creation, the year Jesus was crucified, buried and ascendedinto the heavens hovers around 29-33AD. So let us say that 4000years fromcreation is 33AD, it thus mean that the second coming of Jesus at most will be2033AD, you just have to add 2000 years. If 4000 years from creation is 30AD, itmeans the return of the great Master is 2030AD.
